Skill & Craftmanship
Many a time Christians tend to downplay the place of SKILL in favour of MIRACLES. But it’s Jesus Christ who said the gentiles are wiser than the children of God in their generation. Why? Because they work day and night to hone their skill to genius levels. Christians prefer to remain mediocre in the guise of ‘waiting on the Lord’.
God used the sling of DAVID and a rock to kill Goliath. But do you know David had spent YEARS practising and improving his SKILL? Otherwise God would have had nothing to use.
God had Pharaoh pay for the education of MOSES. Because He knew Moses would have to write the books of the law in the Bible. Imagine if Moses failed his exams and waited for a miracle.
The Apostle Paul was used MORE than Peter who had been with Jesus. Why? Simple. He was more educated, and understood a wider myriad of concepts. Even Peter said some of the things Paul wrote were hard to grasp. Grace of God loathes LAZINESS. It demands WORK. Hard work. Paul said I received the grace of God, therefore I worked HARDER than any of them.
1 Corinthians 15:10 But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favor on me—and not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace.
Did you know God considers your skill an ANOINTING? A Grace? From GOD?
Exodus 31:2-5
“See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, 3and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills— 4to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, 5to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of crafts
This man was anointed, by GOD, not to PREACH, but to be a BUILDING CONTRACTOR. If he had become an EVANGELIST instead, he would have missed God’s perfect will for him.
The GRACE. To hone and execute your SKILL. Receive it now. In Jesus mighty Name. Amen.
