Of no Reputation

One of my sons asked me one day, “Sir, am ready to be used by God in the prophetic.” I told him, well, there are certain things that God does to prepare His vessels for use, especially where the prophetic is concerned. One, is to make you of NO REPUTATION. This is to deliver you from the FEAR OF MAN. The Bible says Jesus Christ made Himself of no reputation.

Philippians 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

This means God takes what you would consider to be reputation, looks for the THICKEST MUD, and has it dragged there. This is to make sure it’s NEVER a consideration when God sends you to say something somewhere. It delivers you from the fear of men. Will they say you’re ILLUMINATI? Well. They’re ALREADY saying that. Will they accuse you of WITCHCRAFT? Voilà! They are doing that ALREADY. Will they SLANDER your name? Surprise! It’s happening already. Will friends despise you? Good news! They ALREADY do. Do they say you have DEMONS? Brother. They even have their NAMES. So finally your SOLE PURPOSE is saying just what God says to say. PERIOD.

What exactly did they call JESUS in His day? Well. The question should be, what DIDN’T they call Him?

1./ Bastard, born out of wedlock.

John 8:41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.

2./ Glutton and a drunkard, friend to sinners

Matthew 11:19 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’ But wisdom is proved right by her deeds.”

3./ A sinner

John 9:24 So for the second time they called in the man who had been blind and told him, “God should get the glory for this, because we know this man Jesus is a sinner.”

4./ A mad person (Beside Himself)

Mark 3:21 When his family heard what was happening, they tried to take him away. “He’s out of his mind,” they said.

5./ Demon possessed. Using Evil spirits

Matthew 12:24 But when the Pharisees heard about the miracle, they said, “No wonder he can cast out demons. He gets his power from Satan, the prince of demons.”

The PEOPLE loved JESUS. The RELIGIOUS LEADERS didn’t. They, in effect, called Him a FALSE PROPHET. But Jesus gave an interesting criterion for determining a false prophet.

Luke 6:26 “Woe to you, when all people speak well of you, for so their fathers did to the false prophets.

It seems therefore, that the REAL ones will get all kinds of criticism and slander. The FALSE one all kinds of PRAISE from people.

Nevertheless. In all these things. We are still more than conquerors. And so are YOU. The grace to serve faithfully. Receive it in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! It is DONE. #RevivalisHere. #ToTMovement.
