Pastor Silas Murata was saved in his youth and later baptized in the Full Gospel Church, where he became a member. He served faithfully in the church until he was promoted to the position of deacon.
As a deacon, he was appointed to minister in two churches under the care of his bishop, Martin.
Later, he moved to Oasis of Grace Kiengu, where he was ordained as a pastor by his late bishop, Domiciano Mwika. He served under Bishop Mwika until his passing. Following his demise, the church transitioned to ToT, where Pastor Silas continues to serve under Reverend Nelly, who is under Prophet Bishop Fred Akama.
In addition to his pastoral duties, Pastor Silas is a professional mechanic.
