CONSIDER THIS WOMAN

The woman with the issue of blood. Jesus said, HER faith, not His, had made her whole. But the obstacles her faith had to overcome!

JESUS as an obstacle:

– He was accused of hanging out with sinners, prostitutes and tax collectors (In other words, they said He was in ministry for MONEY, not real holiness)

– He wasn’t doing things ‘biblically’, including healing on the Sabbath and His disciples not washing their hands before eating

– Granted, there were miracles in his ministry, but the ‘testometers’ of the pastors then ‘revealed’ that His powers were of dubious origin. In fact, they were CERTAIN those powers were from BEELZEBUB, the chief demon.

– Even His own blood brothers didn’t believe in Him. They thought He was STAGING these miracles.

The WOMAN herself as an obstacle:

– She was UNCLEAN. And risked STONING if she appeared in public.

She shut her ears and eyes to all these and went for her miracle. Many of us, if we lived then, would have joined the ranks in VILIFYING her. Now we CHEER her extraordinary faith.

ALL she had was a voice IN her. ‘If I can only touch the hem of His garment..’

Most times ALL you will have is that voice.

I want to encourage you. Even if you remain to stand ALONE. My brother. My sister. GO FOR IT. One day the same people will come cheer your extraordinary FAITH. YOU WILL MAKE IT! In Jesus mighty Name. Amen.
