Hagios is a Greek word that translates to "holy," "set apart," and "sacred." We are an interdenominational movement of a people consecrated by God to flood the world with the light of the gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, and to shine Him to the whole world.
We believe in the transforming power of the love of God, that men may be able to comprehend the width, length, depth, and height, and to know this love which surpasses knowledge, that all the saints may be filled with the fullness of God. We have a mandate to bring the body of Christ to the unity of the faith and oneness of mind.
Vision: To see our communities flooded with the knowledge of the Word of God and, by revelation, to make disciples and raise an army of light to take charge and have dominion.
Mission: To transform the world with the love of God through the demonstration of the Spirit and the power of God.
Our History:
Hagios Republic started as a fellowship of young people with a hunger for God. The movement began in August 2018, leading to our first fellowship in the same month—an overnight meeting at a local church in Thika. We quickly established online fellowships, where our numbers grew tremendously, leading to the formation of four main WhatsApp groups. Through various meetings and events, we have spread across the country, impacting different universities and making a difference in our society.
